Three surfaces, one workspace
Synect isn't a chat app pretending to be a productivity tool, or an agent platform pretending to be a chat. It's designed deliberately as three connected surfaces.
Chat
Multi-turn chat with whichever model fits the question. Auto Mode picks the right model when you don't want to. Web search, file attachments, queued messages, regenerate, branch, share — every behaviour you've come to expect.
Sparks
Build agents with a system prompt, knowledge base, and an optional multi-step pipeline. Sparks can call native web search, fetch pages, run code, generate images, drive Google Slides, or hit any of 80+ Composio integrations (Slack, Notion, Hubspot, Linear, Jira, Salesforce, Stripe…).
Canvas
When the model writes a long document, slide deck, code file, or HTML page, it streams into Canvas — a side-by-side editor where you can revise the model's draft directly. Selection-level edits, full-document rewrites, version history.
Auto Mode
The right model for the question — every time
A two-stage classifier (fast regex rules, then a small LLM fallback) routes every message to the model that handles it best. Web-search-needing prompts go to Perplexity; reasoning questions go to OpenAI o4-mini; coding goes to a fast Gemini; long PDFs go to Gemini 2.5 Pro. You don't pick a model — unless you want to, then explicit override always wins.

Native web search across OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Perplexity. With or without the toggle, the model decides — and it cites real URLs.

- Sparks are Synect's AI agents. You build one by defining a system prompt, attaching a knowledge base, and optionally configuring a multi-step pipeline. Sparks can run live web search, fetch web pages, execute code, generate images and Google Slides, and connect to 105+ third-party integrations via Composio — including Slack, Notion, HubSpot, Linear, Jira, Salesforce and Stripe — plus custom MCP servers. Keep a Spark private or publish it to the marketplace.
- What is Canvas in Synect?
- Canvas is Synect's side-by-side editor. When a model generates a long document, code file, slide deck, or HTML page, it streams into Canvas — a versioned editor where you can make selection-level edits, request full-document rewrites, and step back through revision history without leaving the workspace.
- How does Synect's Auto Mode work?
- Auto Mode uses a two-stage classifier to route each message to the best available model: a fast rule layer handles clear-cut intents (such as coding, image generation, or deep research), and a small fallback model handles ambiguous prompts. You can override the routing and choose any model manually at any time.
- Is Synect GDPR-aligned?
- Yes. Synect is built and operated in Ireland on EU infrastructure and is GDPR-aligned, with self-serve data export and account deletion. It also discloses AI interaction in accordance with EU AI Act Article 50, so you are always told when you are interacting with AI models rather than a human.
- Is Synect free to use?
- Synect is free during its invite-only preview — Synect covers the AI provider tokens and no credit card is required to join. Paid plans (BYOK, Starter, Creator, Pro and Team) are planned for a later Stripe launch, with at least 30 days' notice and preview users grandfathered.
